What can GAC offer?
Currently, 184 children, ages 2 to 14 years, are in the program. They are supervised by 18 employees.
109 of these children between the ages of 2 and 6 years receive full day care of 10 hours/day.
The other 75 children and teenagers between 7 and 14 years of age come to GAC for half a day. They attend school the other half of the day.
We provide the children with:
- Care at a safe place
- Regular meals
- Social interaction
- Psychological support, if needed
....... but, the most important: the love and affection of their teachers!

1. Schooling
The 2 to 3 year old children receive all day care. Their teachers encourage social integration in the group. They encourage the youngsters´ creativity and playfulness.
Children between 4 and 6 years are also in the full day care program. They receive pre-school assignments, with an emphasis on creativity and play.

Children between 7 and 14 years do their homework under teacher supervision.

The older children show off their acquired skills in popular Samba dances or Funk Music. The acquisition of musical instru- ments proved to be a magnet for the teenagers to frequent GAC.
Big goal achieved!

4. Group activities
The foundation sponsors meetings and in depth discussions involving the families of the children. The goal is to continuously improve the relationship between child, parents and mentor.
